Dealers in USA/UK: - We have a Superior Zero-Clearance fireplace model KR-38 that is about 5 years old. The fireplace has a metal flue {8 inch we believe} that extends to the spark cap. We have contacted Superior and they only offer and refer to gas inserts. Do you know of any wood inserts that are rated for this fireplace. Would we need to replace our flue, run new pipe through it, or attach to the current pipe. We would appreciate .....continued. |

Do you know if anyone makes gas fireplace inserts that vent out the back instead of on the top. We are having trouble finding an insert that will work in my fireplace opening as we have approx 16 inches of stone going back into my opening before you get to the metal fireplace and the height of my opening is only 23 inches. . |
